My journey began in 1997, after a caesarean section when I was unexpectedly diagnosed with a polyp in my gallbladder. The news was shocking, as I hadn’t experienced any pain or discomfort. My obstetrician reassured me that the polyp was very small—about the size of a grain of rice—and wouldn’t cause any harm. However, he advised me to return in a couple of years for a follow-up to monitor its growth. Feeling fine, I didn’t see the need to go back, so I didn’t.
Years passed, and I started experiencing severe pain in my right abdomen. Concerned, I went to see a doctor, who recommended a scan. The results showed that the original polyp had grown, and a new one had developed beside it. I now had two polyps in my gallbladder. The doctor suggested further check-ups to determine whether they could be surgically removed, but the potential expense of the operation was daunting, and I wasn’t keen on going through with it.
In my time of uncertainty, I turned to God for guidance. That’s when He directed me to the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in July 2024. With great anticipation, I participated in the Healing Streams, fully believing that God would work a supernatural miracle in my life through the man of God, Pastor Chris.
During the service, as Pastor Chris prayed for everyone, I placed my hand on my right abdomen, where the pain was most intense, and boldly declared, “I am healed! Hallelujah!”
The next morning, however, the pain persisted, and I even experienced vomiting. My right side was in agony, so I decided to see my doctor again. She recommended another scan, but the appointment was three days away. In the meantime, I noticed something incredible—the pain began to subside, my appetite returned, and I felt like myself again. By the time I went for the scan, all my symptoms had vanished.
The scan involved the insertion of dye to get a clear view of my organs, and when the results came back, they were nothing short of miraculous. There were no polyps in my gallbladder—absolutely nothing! I was overwhelmed with joy and couldn’t stop praising God for His goodness and love.
