When What God Has Given Doesn’t Show in Your Life

When what God has given

This is where many Christians quietly find themselves. They believe the Word, yet their experience often feels different. They know the scriptures, but what they see and feel does not always align with what the Word says.
The truth is, God has already given us so much in Christ.
The Bible made it clear: “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness” (2 Peter 1:3, NKJV).

It also said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6, NKJV).
This is not because God hasn’t given, but because what He has already given has not yet become their lived reality.
So, the tension is clear. God has given, yet many believers are not seeing it reflected in their daily lives as it ought to.

The Bible says you have been made righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21, NKJV).
It says you have been blessed with all spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3, NKJV).
It says you have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3, NKJV).
It says you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37, NKJV).
These are not future possibilities. They are present realities in Christ.

But here is where the struggle begins. When these truths remain only as information in the mind, they do not naturally translate into experience. Life begins to reflect what is felt and seen, rather than what has already been given.
That is the disconnect.

This is exactly what Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explains in Your Right in Christ. Many believers are still trying to receive what has already been made available to them in Christ. Instead of standing in it, they keep asking for it. Instead of living from it, they keep waiting for it.
So how does this truth become real in your daily life?

It begins with consistency in the Word, staying with it until it reshapes your thinking from within. Then it moves into identity, where the Word begins to define how you see yourself. And from there, it shows in how you respond to life, speaking and acting from what God has already said.
And when it becomes real to you, everything begins to change. You stop trying to get from God what He has already given, and you start living from it.

If you want to understand this more deeply and practically, Your Right in Christ by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will help you walk in this reality clearly. You can get a copy here: Loveworldbooks.org
